Wake had a good chance to beat mich st.
Thuga got tossed a softball getting to play Baylor. Who knew Miami was that bad and flip the Va Tech Kentucky game and it’s about even. You can deduct nothing from it. All you can do is take each team individually, and the only one that matters is the last one.

These games are more like next year's squads than the one supposedly rewarded with the games we're seeing.
You ever wonder what it would be like if the spring games were replaced with the old high school jamboree formats. Group four teams and play 20-30 minutes against each. Use ticket sales to fund a cause, or general scholarship fund for each school. Let the games play 'situationally' at least part of the time...goal line...two minute...etc. Do something different to let the players and fans have some fun. Perhaps even have a sportsmanship award based on the chosen school's squad and fans' behavior.
Just brainstorming...but thinking how to utilize facilities a bit more...even at some bowl sites and give teams/fans/even officials a different outlet in a more relaxed (who am I kidding!?!  can dream, though!) setting! Could be a marketing bonanza as well.

Who knew Miami was that bad? Their losses to FIU and Duke weren't a clue? Flip the VA Tech and KY result? I guess if you count SEC wins as ACC wins then yeah, it will all even out.

The true tale of the tape is the fact that the 3 'brands' that the ACC really needs to step up their game - Miami, VT and FSU - are 3 of the most disappointing bowl (and season!) performances. VT honestly had that game but they can't close. Miami & FSU....well none of us are shocked at those results. I did think UVA represented well. I imagine Pac12 feels the same way about USC and Big12 feels the same way about OK and Baylor. "Really guys....you're going to crap the bed EVERY year on national TV???"
Yep, that's how we feel about Miami, VT and FSU too. Well...except for one thing. I don't cheer for a conference. There's 130 FBS teams out there - I hate 129 of em!

State should have won. None of those teams made the plays they had to make at the end of the game to win. Period. I get so tire of apologists trying to make arguments for 55 minute victories.

If I were you, I would be concerned that the team I just beat plays in such a putrid conference and hope my team isn’t overconfident.
