If the Buckeyes are losing at halftime, I wonder if they

put in a plan to rapid test and put the second half off a week or so?

Bama this year, more than any other, has consistently come

out of the gate smoking on offense, and buried the opposition quickly. We will know the outcome of this game before the end of the first quarter, more than likely.

Especially if the smoke signals about Waddle playing turn out to be true.

I’m curious to see if Bama attacks Fields. I bet he gets hit often in the rib cage. The backup QB will get lots of snaps as Bama wins this game by 30!

Punctured lungs aside...they'll give Fields an injection or two and he'll be right back out in a play or two.

I'm not sure why the bucknuts would even play the game?

If you have been paying attention, the Big 10 wants to put the game off a week but Ohio State is fighting to play on this Monday. Since the SEC, Alabama, and Ohio State all want to play this Monday, and ESPN favors the SEC and ACC, I don't think the game will be moved. B

But make no mistake, Ohio State easily could postpone this game if they wanted. One issue is with the Big 10 protocal. It is tougher than the SEC or ACC. Guys would be out for 17 days, meaning that they would be out next week as well.

Ohio State's biggest lost is going to be Tommy T. He pretty much wrecked TL, Etienne, and the Clemson offensive line. Alabama has a better offensive line. I don't think Ohio State can win without Tommy T because the secondary is not very good and the linebackers- Borland and Werner- are good against the run but aren't fast enough for the pass.

One can argue that Ohio State's win was more impressive than Alabama. They defeated the team that blue out Notre Dame by 21 points. It's a shame that same Ohio State team won't show up. They are without their 3rd best defensive end also. Best tackle and third best defensive end. There could be more. Ryan Day does not release stuff.

The Buckeyes have proven to be one of the top 2 college football teams this year. Obviously they want to play. What do the Buckeyes have to lose by playing?

Everyone already things Alabama is going to win. The Vegas line has gone from 7 to 8.5- some sportsbooks say 9. That means a ton of money has been placed on Bama to win by over a touchdown.

I thought a Buckeye team without covid issues would lose to a Bama team without issues. Now that the Buckeyes have issues, I think Bama is going to drill them. So do most on this board. So why not play? If they lose, everyone expected that. If they win they have a chance for glory.

Even though I fully expect Bama to win by at least 4 td's, it's not like an Ohio State victory would be as big of an upset as the 1980 Olympic team, or Mike Serra over GSP, or Dillawshaw vs. Barreo, or the Cincinati REds defeated the A's.

Maybe the entire game could be Tecmo Bowl!

You think a delayed second half would enable the Buckeyes to make up at least 21 points? The Buckeyes couldn't beat Bama' 2nd string by 21 points in one half.
