Assuming Dabo only plays TL during championship phase...

due to the new redshirt rule, I would think if:

Game 1: Rains TDs on SCar for the State Title
Game 2: Does his deal for the ACC Title
Game 3: Lays the wood in the playoff
Game 4: Knocks out Bama for the Natty

Wouldn't that still be enough to win the Heisman during a redshirt season?

That's a moot question as the Heisman Trophy balloting wraps up before the college bowl season and the college playoffs. There are a lot of Heisman voters who actually cast their ballots in October which , in my opinion is a shame. I am convinced that early voting by the Heisman voters is what cost Deshawn to not win the Heisman.

I am sure all of that will happen. He won't get the Heisman though. They make up their minds about 4 weeks in and then vote early.

KB wins the Heisman in the first 11 games, and TL gets started up in the regular season finale, creating a nightmare scenario for opposing DCs. We ride the two-headed monster to a natty and the Lawrence era is officially underway.

But I actually hope TL gets started right away.

I've got oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

That guy is out of here in 3 years as a top 10 NFL draft pick. This is all predicated upon him not sustaining injury but the last thing the staff is thinking about is making sure he can still redshirt.
