Just my personal opinion on the best teams right now. If our offense would play to our standard then no doubt we're #1. I think we have the best defense out of all the top 6 teams.

I would put Auburn ahead of us right now only because they beat AM at their place. I also think there is only one team on your list that would play unc to a 1 point game and we know the answer to that one. We always get better as the year goes along so hopefully that is the deal with our offense.

1. OSU - nobody is playing this well - possibly will play for the NC
2. Clemson - awaiting next victim, possibly will play for the NC
3. OU - 3rd Heisman award, possibly will play for the NC
4. Auburn - best they've played in years
5. Bama - meh
6. UGA - only this low because Smart is not smart
7. LSU - no real D (Vandy scored 38 on them??)
Not including UF or Wisconsin, but still Top Ten (for now)
The SEC Champ will be the remaining team to be in the CFP

In no order.
Bama
Auburn
Oklahoma
Ohio State
LSU
Georgia
We might be in the top 6...not sure. Maybe we are top 9? Who knows? For all we know Penn State and Wisconsin are better than us. We're definitely top 10.

I'm not sure we make my top 6. You can try to discount what other teams like Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma have done by saying they haven't played anyone (is Michigan still someone?), but WE haven't played anyone either and we've been less impressive against our nobodies IMO. And then you have Auburn, LSU, and Georgia that have actually beaten good teams.

Are you drunk? LSU beat Texas at Texas. Auburn has beaten Oregon (a very possible Pac champ) and demolished Mississippi State and A&M. Penn State has beaten a good Pitt team (that beat UCF) and flattened a Maryland who beat Syracuse by 50. You think Clemson would have beaten Texas or Oregon yesterday? Only Ohio State might have had a weaker schedule than us at this point, but they have played an okay Nebraska and a really good Cincinatti team.

I did this in another thread already but:
1. Ohio State
2. Auburn
3. LSU
4. UGA
5. Bama
6. Oklahoma
I think Clemson is #7 (though Wisconsin has an argument) and still controls their own destiny, but if they were to play today, I think all 6 of those teams would beat Clemson. Good thing the playoffs are still 3 full months away.
