Anyone watch USA vs El Salvador last night?

Dec 10, 2020, 11:10 AM

I know it’s only El Salvador, but the young talent sure does look promising. We really should be competitive with Mexico in WC qualifying.

Those were only our MLS guys

The majority of our best talent is in Europe and didn't come home for his. No Pulisic, McKennie, Dest, Musa, Reyna, Steffen, Sargent, etc.

Yeah you do have to consider the competition, but I liked what I saw out of Chris Mueller in his debut. That's not a very deep position in the US system and he could maybe help. Brenden Aaronson looked really good too and he's set to go to Europe soon with American coach Jesse Marsch in RB Salzburg.

We need some LB prospects so we can keep

Dest on the right.

I think Mckennie might be our best player. After seeing his play with Juventus this year he has really upped his game. He is on his way to becoming world class along with Pulisic.

I think Gio Reyna could be better than either. Kid has his dad's touch and vision but is a vastly better athlete and he's better on the ball. And he's got just an unholy shot from distance too.

I really liked what I saw of Musah too. Hope he chooses the US. I think he will; England is trying to slow-play him into their U-21 setup. Why settle for that when there's a core of guys the same age there with the USA and they need you right now?

Did we go to war or something?

Sounds like a mismatch. Poor Salvadorans
