Anyone think that L's secondary was on "the take"?

Oct 31, 2014, 7:49 AM

I don't think that Louisville's secondary could have played any worse than they 2nd half last night. The #1 defense in the country just letting receivers pass them? Not even attempting tackles on receivers? Going high on tackling running backs? I don't think that Louisville defense had 1 busted assignment against Clemson, and last night, they laid the biggest egg with a golden plate of offense in their favor.

I'd like to keep a close eye on those secondary players spending habits over the next 3 months to see how they use the "take money".

No...they just finally faced an offense with a pulse.

Frankly, Clemson's offense would have likely had similar success against Louisville had Watson not gotten injured.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If we could have thrown the deep ball we blow them out.***

Which, as we've seen, Watson can do.***

He had Hopper wide open for at least 50 yards vs UL.***

If you'll lump their receiver in there with them.

When it looks like a coordinated effort to loose a ball game and there aren't many turnovers it's more likely an attitude adjustment by the winning team.

UL dropped like 4 INTs from Cole. Also your secondary

looks much better against a team with terrible OL play and almost as bad QB play.

FSU just wore them out with a balanced attack***

Jamis put the ball into some very tight windows last night---UL covered well---I don't think much of him as a person, but I will give him his due, he is a very good quarterback!
