I'll take a shot, gimme Doc Redman...biased I know, but he hits it straight, putts the eyes out of it, and is playing good golf right now.

Last I saw Doc was the next Alternate . . .

to get in if someone else dropped out . . . Did he make it into the Field???

Winged Foot is going to challenge all players to hit fairways, be patient and keep their cool . . . it is going to frustrate all hot heads immensely . . . Looking at it through those eyes, a solid long shot might be Paul Casey!

I like Paul alot. He will probably be in the mix on the weekend. He has played great this year and usually goes about his business professionally.

Paul Casey . . .

He plays well in Augusta . . . I look for him to win it before long!

How has Ian Poulter been playing lately?

Sep 16, 2020, 4:50 PM

He is one of those guys who generally plays well during the Open.

Would Finau be considered a sleeper?

I dont think so. He is probably top 10 favorites right now on the betting lines.

Rickie of course lol. I think Daniel Berger is a great pick at probably some pretty good odds.

Sep 16, 2020, 8:27 PM

well, I'll take Dustin Johnson.

Oh, he's not a sleeper? Then, I'll pick Rickie Fowler.

If he's not a sleeper, he's at least a yawner.

If you want a REAL sleeper, then I'll take Charles Howell III.

But, the best sleeper story that could ever happen would be if Jon Pak (amatuer - senior at FSU, we're a golf school) won it.

I would’ve said Jannik Sinner

Sep 16, 2020, 8:32 PM

A very talented ball striker Italian teen. He has extremely easy power and one I expect to win several slams. But he got a rough draw vs Khachanov in round 1.

He took a 2 sets to none leave but the more mature game of Khachanov wore him down in the end.

Check back next year though for Sinner
