Any chance in Baker to play against Ohio State?

I'm not sure we would want him to. Like Korrin, Adrian still needs time to recover. Acls are tough to come back from .

and wouldn't be surprised if he transferred after this season.

and there was a rumor that K. Wiggins didn't even travel to Orlando for the ACCCG so I wouldn't be surprised if he transferred either.

I liked Wiggins so I hope he doesn't. I liked Baker coming out of High School but he hasn't done much in his time here. I mean there is that nice interception against FSU last year!

Had a big pick in the red zone against USuCk too.***

why would he transfer? he has proven he can play at this

level. Big INTS against SCAR and FSU last year. He just needs to get healthy. So does KW

i didnt say he would

but that I wouldn't be surprised.

our numbers right now for who we have recruited aren't adding up. We need some attrition. we have 12 that we know are leaving. we have 14 guys coming in and maybe 1 or 2 more on top of that.

I think DJ Greenlee will probably graduate and move on. that's 1
we need at least 3 more. Adrien Dunn? maybe.

still need 2 more spots.

I wouldn't read much into not traveling with the team to

Dec 12, 2016, 3:41 PM

Orlando. I counted both teams players and it looked like each team only had 65 players. Not sure if this is an ACCCG rule or if the switch of venue impacted budgets, thus the amount of players traveling.

*allowed 72 players for ACC travel.

Dunn ran down the hill with the seniors, so it appears

Dec 12, 2016, 3:43 PM [ in reply to i didnt say he would ]

he is moving on. Greenlee did not. By my count we are 1 over right now. Numbers are definitely tight.

Dabo said recently that Baker will definitely not medical redshirt. So if I understand that comment correctly, he thinks Baker is not worth keeping around for another year, right? If he was so valuable, they would medical redshirt him like they did MW aka Godzilla.

Mike Williams didn't get a medical redshirt, and Baker has

Dec 12, 2016, 5:09 PM

Already had a redshirt it's very difficult to get a 6th year.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I wouldnt discount him like that.....

Dec 12, 2016, 8:22 PM [ in reply to wouldnt count on it ]

he was supposed to be a starter this year before he was injured...he was being counted upon and he had turned into a true cover corner with some reach ... i hate it for him that he got hurt ....

I think Dabo said we are in the championship phase and it's too late to throw him out there. I hate that for AB

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This would be a really bad game for Baker even if he were healthy.

Dec 12, 2016, 8:31 PM

OSU's top priority is going to be getting the run game established somehow and that will likely mean attacking the perimeter. They can do that with both Barrett and Curtis Samuel.

And, while solid in coverage, Baker is a terrible tackler.
