Is it a reach? Probably. Can it happen. Certainly. Nobody makes it through the Big10 or Big12 without at least 1 loss; USC beats Oregon this year; The media maintains the SEC 'strength of schedule' theme and has LSU and Bama at #2 and #3 as a rematch. The Bigs are ####ed off, needless to say. Now, "jus' git her dun".

Can it happen - No - Because the playoff system doesn't start until the 2014 season.
