10-10 in night games since 1992

by my calculations. I prefer to win more than 50% of the time. Just something to think about. Plus these past few yrs w/o one, we've won 10 straight at home.

Not a very good sample size.

Not to mention, those night games have probably been against ranked opponents/teams playing well at the time.

I think it's statistically significant. I would love to know the records of the teams that we faced. That would be needed to determine is the difference was signification.

Clemson used to be horrible in night games

I can remember having a conversation with my dad back in the 90s about if a game were scheduled after dark, we might as well expect a loss.

But, going back further, Clemson never played night games, and rarely played late afternoon games at home. It was truly remarkable if you saw the lights come on at Death Valley.

All of this is anecdotal evidence of nothing in particular, but fun to talk about during a bye week.

Opponents vary from Citadel, MTSU, to a few against FSU, SC and GT. If VT is down and unranked, we should kick the crap out of em at 7am or midnight, IMHO.
