Well it’s been a good run for us Clemson fans with Muschamp at the helm.
Too bad it’s coming to a close soon. But I have confidence for them to screw up the next hire too. All is not lost!

Even if they didn't screw up the next hire it would not matter.
Born and bred South Carolinians don't have a really good perspective on just how inept the Gamecock Football program is.
Even if SCAR got lucky and hired a young SUPER-STAR COACH he would simply use them as a stepping stone to a better job. It's easier to win big at other schools.
Dabo/Clemson has permanently relegated them to a 3rd-Tier P5 Football Program.

"Going forward" could mean one game two games or even one more year. The Gamecpck's hope for success on the football field has failed them for over 125 years. If their football program was a private business, they would have been forced to filed for bankruptcy many years ago.

I agree Joe , " going forward " is a loaded statement and as ambiguous as they come . Tanner said nothing more than Muschamp isn't fired yet .

There you have it; a statement from USuC's version of Bagdad Bob. I'm sure hearing that just gives Muffcramp the old bubble guts.

I'd say this - it's not all that hard to give the "Vote of Confidence" when Musky's standing there with a $19-million anvil right over Ray's head.

Not trying to be ugly but University Athletics are a billion dollar enterprise. You don’t give a guy who was spitting sunflower seeds in a dugout the reigns to that no matter how many games he won, you hire the CEO of Coke!

Not offering on the merits or demerits of MusChump. Interesting how the poultry turn against their coach in the most ridiculous and classless manner imaginable. Hate to say it, Chump is actually being treated worse than I'd wish on him. Trustees inviting former athlete candidates as an FU to the athletic administration. The politically forced university president running his yap publicly about the fixing the situation. How is that more than a small part of a university president's job? It has always been that way in Cola. Too close to the political whirlwind. It is part of the reason they have always been mediocre at best.
Contrast with Tommy West. Was not getting the job done. He was fired at the end of the season. Was lucky and good enough to beat the poultry and got carried off the field, a nice last thing. Sorry it didn't work out, but we like you, go and be blessed. Wonder how Chump will view this whole thing in the future.
