QB isn’t our problem. An overrated OL coach and offensive line is.

I keep reading about how wonderful our OL is and what a great coach Robbie Caldwell is. I’m reading that we have linemen who are considering going pro. It’s all so laughable.
It doesn’t matter who our QB is, or how great our RBs are. If our line doesn’t do better, it won’t matter.

OL has certainly not been great, but the QB has made them look worse. I've never expected KB to be the QB next year

I agree. He has misread several options which resulted in negative plays. Also, he has gotten happy feet on multiple drop backs where the pocket was tight but not collapsing.
It is beyond me why HJ did not see the field.

At least we have 9 deep in WRs.

My sarcasm meter must be off. Don't think we need nine deep WRs.

I disagree. I think QB is a big part of the problem. KB holds the ball waaaaaay too long.

It has been a bit of both, with a dash of Cain drops and our scheme having Richard and ETN in tough position attempting to block.

I will agree with you on some of the pass blocking plays that our O-line didn't pick up the blitzers. But neither did the running backs.
The play calling is more to blame than our O-line. Why are we running up the middle on Bama's Defense?

Alabama has made a living off of making OL's look bad over the past several years.

Respectfully disagree. QB is a notch below other QBs on team

But tonight, I give Bama its due. Saban just out coached Dabo big time. And Deshaun won the trophy last year, and Deshaun when healthy is burning up the NFL.

Uh yea qB is a problem...
KB isn’t a QB that alerts you on on passing or throwing...
He’s an awful thrower with horrible pocket presence.
It’s realky that simple. DW at least took drives long enough to flip field positions.

The OL was overmatched, but to be fair....

KB, play calling, etc etc, was a huge part of the 3 and outs. Bamas D never had a chance to get tired. That same OL we have now with Gallman, Watson, Williams, and Leggett probaby still wins this game.

Add special teams and TE to that list as well.. which would be Pearman

Special teams cost us from the opening kick and it continued the entire night. Return game is bad, kicker is weak, punter is awful. I’ve lost count of the # of years with terrible special teams. TE group nonexistent this year. Same song and dance that cost us the natty in Phoenix.

Funny, 4/5 are the exact same linemen we had last year that beat them. So you would think with a years more experience they would be better or at least as good as they were. It also isn’t up for debate that Bama’s D isn’t as good as last year even though they are still elite.
The big difference was Watson, his ability to move the pocket, get rid of it quickly, and keep the D honest because he could consistently hit the intermediate and long ball. That is something Bryant has not been able to do all year against an elite D. He has only faced two.
