Q about final 2 mins. Clemson went into victory formation

and Watson didn't hesitate about kneeling down. Okie still had 3 timeouts. How did Clemson know at that point that Stoops was conceding? I guess the easy answer is, "Well they punted on 4th down." I just wondered if maybe an Okie player wanders over to the Clemson sidelines and says, "We're done," or something.

Imo, Stoops is old school and wanted to get out of there and let the clock run out. The coaches knew that and ran Victory.

Because his QB was out, he ran the ball on their previous possession........so B Stoops threw in the towel the drive before.

Half their squad was injured from the whuppin' we put on them. They knew if they kept going, they may not have enough bodies to field a team.
