Please pay respects to a Clemson legend:

Nov 16, 2020, 9:45 AM

William Lawrence Muschamp. We will deeply miss this man that did so much for us. Let us take a look at his accomplishments in our lovely state:

28-30 Overall record

17-22 Conference record

12-22 Conference record (Vanderbilt removed)

1-2 Bowl record

1-4 against Florida

1-3 against Georgia

1-3 against Kentucky

0-5 against Texas A&M

14-13 against the East

9-13 against the East (Vanderbilt removed)

2-8 against the West

Just enough ranked wins to (almost) keep his job

Built a million dollar chicken (not gamecock; no spurs) statue

And of course, our favorite part:

0-4 Record against Clemson

Let us not weep this day, but fondly remember William Lawrence's contributions to our school. I pray he finds solace somewhere like Georgia Tech where he can continue to be a part of Clemson legend, year, after year, after year. Should you ever see this man walking about, firmly shake his hand and say, "Thank you", from the deepest part of your heart.

I never knew Muscoot's full name... is it possible that UofSC thought they were offering money to the wrong William Lawrence a few years ago?? Something to think about

I'm sure their hearts are breaking just as ours are. He was a special man to them as well.
