Penn State is the most over-rated football team

in the entire country! I make this statement as a long-time Pennsylvania resident who has followed their program for years. I would stack up our starting offensive and defensive teams against theirs and take Clemson without any doubt. They do not have the number of playmakers we have, the quarterbacks or running backs we have, the Simmons factor we have, and perhaps the most significant factor - the total team depth across the board at every position that Clemson has!!!! And has beaten all of Ohio State, LSU, and Alabama in recent years!!!!
Furthermore, has there ever been an undefeated defending National Champion Team who has not been ranked in the top four rankings of the CFP? The answer is a resounding NO!!!!

put us in their position. They are undefeated (8-0) and has beaten 2 current top20 teams. Their non-FCS opponent win% is .557.
If we had that and weren't ranked above 2 undefeated teams (ie bama/clemson in this instance) who have played NOBODY and beaten NOBODY and having non-FCS opponent records in the .400s we'd be ticked.
they may not end up being top 4, but that will soon be seen.
As of now Penn State should actually be #3 ahead of Bama & Clemson.

Bottom line - Penn State has not yet proven its top four worthiness - Clemson has for each of the last four years! And until they are beaten they are deserving to remain in the top four!!!!

It doesn't mean anything, but one of the top 5 teams has beaten the other 4 in their last head to head meeting.
