PETA has written a letter to Clemson condemning

the university for its treatment of animals. The radical organization claims the university has actively engaged in the brutal torturing and killing of fowl for its own enjoyment and amusement as witnessed by the nationally televised butchering of live poultry November 26th from 7:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. Critics of the organization say this is probably the first time PETA has been truthful in its claims. The letter went on to say that PETA is very concerned that Clemson's cruel practices towards fowl will continue and in fact are likely to occur again in six days with the victims this time being turkeys.
