A quick SEC-ACC comparison on my lunch break

Oct 21, 2020, 12:24 PM

Was looking at standings, records, etc, and here's where we are as of today:

ACC has 6 ranked teams (Clemson, ND, Miami, UNC, VaTech, NCS)
SEC has 4 ranked teams (Bama, UGa, TA&M, UF)

ACC has 2 undefeated teams (Clemson, ND)
SEC has 1 undefeated team (Bama)

ACC has 6 teams over .500 in conference (all of the ranked teams)
SEC has 4 teams over .500 in conference (all of their ranked teams)

ACC average total points for: 144.67
SEC average total points for: 107.71

SEC is definitely weaker this year but I would have to also say the acc is pretty average outside of Clemson and unc I think next year the ACC will be competitive from top to bottom.
