NCAA Rules Changes

Every year, especially in HS football, there are slight changes to the rules. Can't remember how many there were last year, but one of the ones that didn't seem favorable is no automatic first down for Defensice PI.

What changes would you suggest for college?

I would suggest the following changes...

1. No blueshirting allowed
2. If you oversign then you have to forfeit all of your recruits
3. If you are located in a town called Chapel Hill and are found guilty of academic fraud, you must be forced to close your institution, never to reopen it.
4. Ed Cunningham and Jessie Palmer shall never be allowed to call another football game
5. Mike Patric - see #4 but add basketball as well
6. Defensive players shall be allowed to tackle again
7. Enforce the delay of game for sideline interference more, it should be called at least twice a game
8. If the refs can call holding on every play, then they should
9. Do away with the 4-team playoff, and put every team in the playoffs with seeding based on the ranking of your recruiting class. Make the entire season a playoff.
10. Eliminate any team from competing if they are found to have a stadium off campus in the middle of the ghetto near the SC State Fairgrounds off an I-77 exit with a crap factory.

I'm sure I'm missing some, but that seems like a good start.
