We've opened up very few running lanes for Etienne all year, even against inferior teams that we should be able to push around up front (but can't). Etienne is just an incredible RB and has excelled despite not getting a ton of help from his OL. He only had 44 yards on 11 carries yesterday though in a game where Clemson led by 45 at HT.

I think it's a pick your poison type of thing, most teams

are loading the box to take ETN running away or limit it as much as possible. That leaves most of our WRs in single coverage and is a dangerous proposition with Trevor at QB

A 4 yds per carry average is not in any way bad.

If he wouldn't have fumbled he would have had more yards and probably another TD to cap off that drive.

TL16 also has had plenty of time to check down thru multiple receivers on many plays.

The OL has 4 new starters one of them being a true sophmore, and only one Senior. That unit may not be as lights-out good as other areas, but they are not playing badly, and they are improving as the season progresses. TL and ETN and indeed the whole offense would not be putting up the numbers that we currently are if they were.
