So I noticed that the color is the same as something like the West brook Gose (my girlfriend's beer of choice).

I poured both in a glass and brought 'em in the living room. Girlfriend hates IPAs (says they're bitter...duh). She proceeds to take her birth control and drinks out of the beer glass that she THINKS is the Gose.

Many a LOLs are had as her puckering her lips at the IPA.

It might be the heavy-body and booziness of some of the IPAs as much as the bitterness.

Gose is tart, but not that overwhelming hop flavor and is generally < 5% abv, I think, so is a little crisper
