In an interview with ABC Columbia, former South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier gave insight to his last two years at the helm of the Gamecock football program. Spurrier admits he should have let a few coaches go at the end of 2014, following Carolina's 7-6 season. Spurrier abruptly left the program in 2015, just six games into the season.
Frankly I'm shocked his magnanimity cracked enough for a teeny bit of humility to creep in. It's fitting that even their best coach ever managed to mess up their program for years and tarnish his own legacy. #chickencurse
