I dont care about it at all. I have no kids. I think I have 40 years max to live. As long as we make it that far.

I am not happy with the shutdown and spending bills

May 7, 2020, 9:23 AM

the only group of people that can outspend republicans, is democrats.

We either get tax and spend or cut tax and spend.

By far the largest check I write every month is to the IRS and nothing else comes close, well BCBS gets a large check too.

I prefer 'get tax and spend' to 'cut tax and spend'. 'cut tax and spend' makes you broker, quicker.

I don't want to be outraged about anything.

May 7, 2020, 9:24 AM

But this is important. It's one reason I do not plan on voting for an incumbent in the House of Representatives.

Imagine how well-equipped we would be to handle this if it was...say.....3 trillion.

And no matter the deficit, your pallet deck......

Our economy is built upon a deck of pallets.***

I've been saying this for 3 yrs now

May 7, 2020, 9:43 AM

Pubs in office talk the debt game when getting elected but lie and just spend spend.

Its a losing battle as a voter imo. No one gives a ####

Was there another way out of negative gdp and 30 million unemployed in the middle of a “pandemic”. Cuz I’d love to hear it. Don’t forget to calculate how much unrelated spending democrats put into these relief bills.

I agree with you up to your last sentence. Both sides are bad. The Reps put in a $195 Billion retroactive tax cut specifically for real estate investors, the Dems put in money for museums and the Kennedy Center. Both sides have abandoned average American's.

And both sides, currently, are helped by the great division in our country.

Debt outrage is reserved for Democratic administrations. HTH

May 7, 2020, 10:03 AM

In reality, it should always be concerning.

In the best economy in the history the world, the US annual debt was in the $750 B range with a Republican POTUS & Semate.

Go figure?

fiat currency. It's all some bulllsheeet main.

It does not matter who is president, the only way we keep this shitraft afloat is to keep expanding the money supply. Maybe when we hit 50 trillion people will start to question fractional reserve lending and have the political will to leave the fed holding the bag in favor of debt free lending.
