His leg got caught under him and somehow twisted in such a way that his leg was flopping around in the air. Looked like a compound fracture, at least. Never seen a leg do that

Derrick Roland at Texas A&M and Tyrone Prothro at Alabama. That was gruesome. Lucky he will have some of the best medical attention in the world.

I am not great with anatomy so I am not sure- is there anything to tear in there, or is that just a bone break? I'm assume it was his tibia and fibula that were snapped in half? Is there anything else to be worried about in that area of the leg?
