I've tried but tsa keeps confiscating them during my security check. Yes, I've even tried hiding them there, so don't even ask.

I always pack ears of corn and a large millstone together in the same carryon - you gotta kinda spell it out for TSA so they’ll understand your intent.

TSA stopped getting paid since the shutdown began, so they may be less aggressive in searching for contraband grits.

Exactly. Grits are chic, and readily available in San Francisco. But instead of being cheap, they are really expensive there, because they will be at fancy restaurants. And Denny’s.

Down in Hunters Point by Candlestick's old spot or Portrero Hill area but not anywhere many Tnetters want to go to....LOL.
