Gave them an error last inning when we clearly would have beat it out and now just gave them a hit on a bad throw by our shortstop (good throw would have had him).

Do you only get a half point for unearned run? Are you sort of safe if you reached on an error? Seems to me, if you are safe, its a hit. If a run scores, it is a run. Kinda like it is an INT regardless of whether the receiver fell or the qb threw a perfect pass to the db. End of rant.

I actually think both of those scorings were correct. But as the previous poster said, who cares? It has no impact on the result of the game.
