Well the “overrated” @sec is at it again-Finished 9-2 in post season play & won the Natty. Thank goodness the officials, opposing coaches/players & somehow even announcers helped them pull off this feat. It’s now up to the @nfl draft to keep the bias going in April. ?? #Sarcasm

One of the replies was pretty good and of course Herbie didn’t respond....
The SEC has a losing record the year before and was 6-6 the year before that in bowls but they hyped them the same.

SEC also had their worst OOC record in a decade during the regular season.
So the top of the conference was very strong, the middle tier began the season weak but got stronger (see TN), and the bottom was just as bad as any other conference in the country. Vandy and AK were just as bad as Rutgers/Northwestern or Cuse/BC. Ole Miss/Mizzou/SC weren't much better.
SouKarliner is a poor rep for the SEC. They went 1-3 OOC with 2 losses to ACC teams and 1 to a G5; their only win was against a FCS school.
They also went 3-5 against the mighty SEC. Amazing that such a bad team could win 3 games against such vaunted competition.

In 2019 there were 4 SEC teams in the preseason Top 10, 3 in 2018 and 1 in 2017. Hardly seems like slipping.
