And i might tell you to take the 81 st B train

to Brighton Beach. Hop off at 59 st at Columbus Circle and get on the A train to Ozone Park. Hop off at Nostrond Ave and from there, it is about a 1/2 mile walk.
If you want to mingle with the UDR (upper deck rich... not quite as poor as UDP), feel free to. If you want to mingle with true LDR or even BSR (box seat rich) you head on over to Greersc, NY... thats where it is happening.
Order of stadium class: UDP UDR LDP LDR BSR

a barbeque joint, Palmetto Pig still open?

if I couldn't find a good one open, I'd do Piggy Park as last resort fallback.
I could crush some hash & rice right now.

you also have Docs, Southern Belly BBQ (which only does sandwiches, but they're really good... probably best bbq sandwiches in town), Maurices (for those with discriminating tastes). Maurice's if they're doing the buffet is legit. Home Team BBQ is realistically the best bbq in town.
If Fried chicken you seek, Zesto's in triangle city (west columbia) is a must-try.

Sandwiches are delicious. Highly recommend.
If in area and want a classic Italian hoagie/sub/grinder, check out Enzo's Delicatessen. They put a ridiculous amount of meat on each sandwich.

Haven't been there in years. They only do sandwiches, bunch of different styles. Served with chips.
http://southernbellybbq.com/Southern Belly BBQ We strive to make the best barbecue sandwiches using quality meats, richly seasoned rubs, natural wood charcoal, freshly baked buns, and made from scratch sauces.
really good for lunch, when you don't want to pack down an entire buffet.

Since I live here in Gangland, I will be taking my talents to the beach this weekend. If I were to be here, Rush's would not be on the top of list for lunch. Rush's isn't bad but there are too many other options.
