I say NC State was "lucky"

if we don't turn the ball over we win by 3-4 TDs. They should feel lucky that they came as close as they did. We had 500 yards, 30 first downs, 6 drives of at least 50 yards. We really let them hang around with all the turnovers. This game should not have been close.

State was lucky we kept giving it to them. The best team won.

Tired of the "IF" game. This is 7 games into the season. Time to eliminate it. We want to be a Championship team, we need to play Championship football.

and intimidating their kicker with an earlier block and mansters on the line for the game winner. We had him rattled - that's football. Glad it worked in our favor, but that's not luck, that's preparation and determination.

State's lucky they didn't get their LB tossed on the Gallman play, and lucky we turned the ball over in ridiculous fashion and circumstance to even give them a fighting chance as the OP stated.

I know there were a lot of stunned and saddened SCar fans around 4pm Saturday afternoon, but they still have Bama - so there's that.

He had missed a previous kick and had one blocked.

The pressure was on him to make the kick because we were coming after it and were on fire to get it. He knew that and his kick wasn't "down the middle" where his previous one was blocked and that has to be, at least to some extent, due to the earlier block.

agree!! also State played the best game they have played in several years... way over their heads.. however, we are to blame for that by letting them hang around with all those T/o
