One of the best moves made at CLEMSON in recent years was bringing coach Scott on board. He and his son have been huge contributors to our program. Lee is a gamecock castoff as well.

Holbrook was told to resign or he'd be fired. Lee left on his own terms. There' s a big difference there.

I did not mentioned the word "fired" in my post. By definition castoff means put aside. Coach lee left Usuck for a better opportunity that he had as a gamecock assistant. If they weren't willing to promote him he was 'castoff'..imo
