Hospitalizations are at 1500
At peak in Spring they were at 8300

Nationally, one group has over 50% of new cases, 18-29 year olds
And deaths in that group are very very low....

Media is setting this up for Joe to be the hero

I'm not sure what source you're using for your numbers, but what I'm seeing is a high of 4300 cases on April 3rd versus 3800 cases on November 10th.

I was quoting the NJ governor from NBC News interview this morning.

Based on hospitalizations in NJ, covid-19 appears to be significantly less severe than in the first few months back in the Spring.

That the Rona has mutated and is MORE CONTAGIOUS, but LESS LETHAL.

The MSM has not communicated that to much degree, so all you hear from them is:

Covid-19 has Surged (True)
Hospitalizations are Up (True, but any additional admissions means they are up)
Deaths are Rising (True, cause any new death is another plus to the total.

What they dont say is THE DEATH RATE has dropped.

I know this is little consolation to families with very sick/dying members, I'm just pointing out that

CLEAR COMMUNICATION ABOUT RONA WOULD BE HELPFUL TO ALL, instead we get a frightening message.

I see. You are talking about deaths per x number of cases. I was talking about deaths per day (which is going up).

Agreed that we are saving more lives now that we've learned more about the virus. I looked on the CDC's website and haven't found anything about scientists saying that the virus mutated to become less deadly.
