My Son's Clemson Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Car......

Not specifically a football...but representing all Clemson Sports down here is Savannah Ga tomorrow......



I had a great time with my son making these cars and wanting to share this Clemson father and son moment!

Good Luck in the derby! Those were some of the fun times in scouting. As a former scout and Eagle Scout I hope he continues all the way to the rank of Eagle because of what it means to not only yourself, but others.

We made a tiger last year but it didn't run as well as yours. Wish your son the best of luck. These times are memories you will cherish. Hope he sticks with scouts. Being an eagle scout is something that has helped me through life and I'm hoping my son continues the tradition.

My son went a little more subtle and painted a car that looked like a Cincinnati Bengals helmet, but it was pretty awesome nonetheless. He hand-drew and painted the stripes himself.

Being the mom of an Eagle Scout, (also daughter of one from the early 1920's) avid Clemson fan, this is quite special ! Best of luck and fun to you and your son in the derby.

Average Speed...199.8 MPH....

We used the high tempo offense and the other cars could not hang...

The design also won best in show.......

My son is a 1st Grader at the "Tiger-Cub" level and they thought the car was originally based on that theme until a couple of parents of some UGA fans got it quickly...it was a great time seeing a bunch of young boys and their parents doing something that didn't require a smart device attached to the head...
