Michel Dukes

On signing day, Dabo said that Michel Dukes (the local rb from Charleston) was really good at catching passes out of the backfield. Since Feaster seemed to be the best at this on last year's team, is there a chance that Dukes avoids a red-shirt and plays this year?

You’ll definitely see him in his 4 games but I think they’ll redshirt him barring injuries in front of him

RBs as freshman really always comes down to ability to protect and pickup defenders. If he can do that he will play. We need experience going into next year when ETN leaves we would only have real exp from lynJ

yep you only see a few guys who get that which always amazes me. you'd think it wouldnt be that difficult.

Yes, all 15 games. His best game receiving was 2 catches for 29 yards against Bama.

If I remember correctly (like most young RBs) Dixon was not exactly praised for his pass blocking last season.

If Dixon is still struggling, then either freshman who comes in and has knack for it will see a lot of playing time to keep ETN from getting beaten up on every third down play.
