Men's Basketball...With Blossingame returning this year and all of the other

...studs on this team, along with the new facility, I was sure that, if it were to happen, this would finally be the breakout year for our program.
Now I am convinced that Clemson will NEVER have a consistently competitive Men's Basketball program.
It's just not one of our core competencies, it's not our fault it's just not who we are culturally diverse it's not in the DNA. Sorry folks..
Time for us to go in a different direction and bring in another Men's Winter sport that would be, inexpensive, exciting, fan friendly and something, with the right marketing, our student can rally around. TIME to bring back the once successful MENS WRESTLING PROGRAM!!!! C'mon DRad! Get off your ####, face reality, and pull the ###### trigger!!!!

Clemson would have to play perfect games to beat the Univ of Non-chalant Cheaters and the Pukesters, since those teams will get every questionable foul call and questionable out-of-bounds call. Check-out the calls in the last few minutes of the Syracuse game. It's hard to win when you can't get the correct foul calls and possession of the ball.

We shot 17.5% on field goals in the first half yesterday against Duke.

And we came within one made basket or one defensive stop from beating them. We were one made free throw from beating UNC earlier this year despite UNC making over 50% of its shots. Please stop posting junk like "we have to play perfect games" to beat Duke and UNC." That simply isn't true.

Duke just came off an emotional game with UNC Thursday night. Duke is much much better than Clemson and would beat them 10 out of 10.

We won and we were very consistent under OP. We had the 3rd most ACC wins his last 4 years only behind Duke & UNC, made the ACC finals.
Brownell should have been fired three years. He can't recruit and unlike football the state of South Carolina has produced lots of basketball talent. Hire a good coach and Clemson can win, there are no elite schools only elite coaches. Hire an elite coach and Clemson will win at a high level.

South Carolina produces very little quality basketball talent.

It produces far more quality football talent, and even that isn't great.

Last year the state produced 4 high 4 star baseball players and we got zero. The next two instate classes will have two top 5 players both 5 star. UsC roster has lots of in state kids.

Please trust me when I say that SC is not a state known for good high school basketball or for top-tier talent.

I was referring to the last few years and trust me there has been very little football talent in SC. Also the fact is SC is producing better instate talent then he's signing out.

There is a fault, and the fault is on the admin and the AD. Give a BB coach the same support that Dabo was given for our FB, and the basketball program will gain traction close to what the FB program has done. Give the BB program the same support as the FB program with a name brand coach, and the BB program will rise to the top. Money and support builds championship programs!!!!

Takes more than one year for that "support" to start to show up on the field/court...
How many years ago was the WEZ completed? That was the start for Footballs resurgence.

We just went through 7 straight years of program improvement
Feb 13, 2017, 11:00 AM
|
|
with 3 straight years of NIT berths(going deeper into the tournament each year until we reached the finals) followed by 4 straight years of NCAA Tournament appearances. During that time we also went to the ACC Tournament Championship game where we barely lost to a top ranked UNC team.
The current coach took that success and flushed it down the toilet. We don't have a Clemson problem, we have a coach problem.

We could get Ric Flair as our coach/manager. Maybe bring in DX and four horsemen. Bring back bra and panties match for the coeds. I would pay $ for that.
