Wow and more wow.
What these Clucker dumb-butts haven't figured out yet is that investing in a great coach and staff is the best investment a school can make. That investment will pay dividends for many years to come: to the school, the fans, to contributions, the students, the reputation and so on. And in the long run that investment will be paid back X 10+!! Clemson has figured that out already and will never look back.
The problem for USuC: what self-respecting coach would want to go there EVEN for big money.
Mother of Meltdowns is both funny and sad to watch.

to go there, unless it is one like Spurrier or Holtz who is just vain enough to try to prove they can win DESPITE being in Cootlumbia. And even then, by the time they have limited success, they are too old to sustain it.

As far as I am concerned, that mouthy, deluded and ignorant fan base warrants every ounce of misery, heartache, pain, agony, misfortune, and suffering that can possibly befall them.
It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

Uhhh... not sure I follow you. Our best coaches built their reputations AT CLEMSON. Who were Frank Howard, Danny Ford, or Dabo before they came to Clemson?

At Clemson being the operative phrase there . The point is that SCAR doesn't , for a few reasons ... have the same ability to build a program with a commoner coming on board as head coach . It's never happened that way for them .
Not to say that it can't , but so far there is no evidence that it can .
