I basically am young enough to be in a spot where Faith and Tim were blowing up the country charts in the mid-late 90s and early 2000s, about the same time that Faith and Tim became household names and I started actually listening to music and such.

Question is. I'm watching some videos now and they seem much better than some of the crap I've seen at the CMA award shows in modern days. How do you folks view Faith and Tim?

Tim showed he was willing to sing pure trash like Truck Yeah. I am not saying everything George Strait has done is good, but I've never known him to stoop that low to stay on the radio.

They were helpful as far as selling a ton of music

under the "country music" umbrella. While their talent is undeniable, they were part of the bridge from real traditional country music to much of what passes for country now.
