Louisville at Houston

I know we still have to take care of business but I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't going to watch this game tonight....So who do we want to win this? If Houston wins, I think that's the final nail in the coffin (granted we win out) for Louisville's CFP hopes. However, the more Louisville wins, the better our win against them looks. Now, I'm pretty certain if we both win out, there's no way they'll get in instead of us. Either it's the both of us or just us. The only way they'd make it in was if things got weird in the BIG10 and Pac12 right? Am I missing something else? I'd honestly be somewhat afraid to play them if we're both #2 and #3 or if we both win and play in the NC game. If we ended played them again, I would welcome them but they are a dangerous team that would seek revenge....Just curious to see what others thought.

I see it as a win/win.
If LOU wins then it just reinforces the fact we beat a good team.
If LOU loses I get the satisfaction of smiling as the smug walking motorcycle accident and his band of whining chrome birds get to chirp about what could've been.

Zero CPF impact for CU. However, UL winning is good

for the perception of CU to the talking heads, if you care about that kind of thing

Only way we would play louisville is if there is chaos in the big 10. They can easily make it in at #4 if Washington loses though.

You are "pretty certain"? There's no way, no how, zero, 100% not happening, Loullville get's in over Clemson after we win out.

I'd reconsider that. Houston has been preparing for this game all summer. All defensive starters from Oklahoma victory are back. Only concern is Greg Ward's health. It's going to be a close game.

IMO, the only way L'ville gets in, is IF Wisconsin or Penn State wins the Big 10. Otherwise, at this moment-- I forcast it like this: 1-Bama 2-OSU 3-Clem 4-Wash ( yes Wash)

We're getting practically "0" credit for win vs Louisville,

so, I would be very happy to see Louisville lose to Houston and drop out of the playoff picture completely.
Tired of hearing rationalizations for why our head-to-head win doesn't count.

We'll get in if we win out regardless of whether UL wins tonight or not. And I'm tired of the rationalizations as well. It's time folks shut up.

Sick of hearing about them so would like to see them lose. Don't think it really impacts us either way.

I bet Alabama and Ohio State are hoping they don't make the playoff . That team is a headache from the offensive side .

Hopefully we would not have 5 turn overs again if we played

them in the national championship game.
They don't match up with us. We win easily without 5 turn overs.
