He understands that the Republican party is thrashing around in deep water and Trump is a heavy weight pulling the whole party down. It'd be best if the Republicans in Congress were the ones leading the effort to impeach to not only do the right thing for the country but to do what's best for the Republican party.

Yup.

I was worried Mitch would pull his turtle face back inside his turtle shell like he's so wont to do, but he looked mighty peeved with Trump when he was denouncing him before the riot ever started.

I'll give Mitch credit - he could not have left it any later. That is, like, epic, historic-level timing on his part. If he continues he might rescue both the GOP as a viable party and his legacy in one fell swoop.

I'll believe it when I see him actually do it, but he's got my attention, anyhow.

His tiny tiny hands would need a girl gun.

I mean, you can kill somebody with one of those Lady .22's, but I just do not have faith in the Donald to get it right. I think he probably ends up clipping Eric in the leg instead, while Rudy Giuliani's eyes get wide, he recovers, then starts yelling "Lookee! Lookee! ANTIFA!" while hopping up and down, because that's about how this administration has rolled the whole way.
