Look back @ UVA

When I went back over UVA game after initial disappointment, now I'm just proud of our guys for getting the W.
- UVA had new QB we had 1 game of tape on
-TE transfer that some say will be 1st TE taken in this draft
-EXTREMELY experienced & big o-line
- we are really young on d-line and really missed T. Davis in the middle
-inexperience and some rookie safety play overshadowed how well corners played
I'm excited and pretty confident for this Miami game. GO TIGERS

I agree with your assessment of the team. It was a good,convincing win over a good team who will have a winning season. But there are still things that happened in that game that should not have happened to a Clemson team. I saw numerous times a running back step out of a tackle and gain big yardage. That’s not Clemson football. Letting the QB run wild is not Clemson football. Dixon dropped a TD pass that even an eighty year old like me could catch. The fire wasn’t there Saturday. The defense was confused often by the sideline signals. This is not Clemson football

I agree with that and the late TD by UVA is what Clemson does most of the time now Who we are playing.

the ball carrier was pulled to the ground or dragged down from behind (instead of being KNOCKED to the ground).

Our defense has got to play with more intensity and drive against Miami - no question.

I told my wife before the game, I was worried because the situation reminds me of last years unc game, in that the starters of a new team were not playing enough to get comfortable. I know that is a Dabo thing, I feel they should have played a little longer. I feel that is what happened last week.
