Allen that was almost a carbon copy of the hit Skalski put on Fields and got ejected for targeting. He lowered the shoulder, thus lowered the head; the crown of the helmet was naturally, almost unavoidadbly forward. The only difference was that Allen did not spin at the last second, so that Leonard's helmet did not contact Allen, but rather went to the side. No flag, and the only comment by the announcer was "textbook form" by Leonard.
