Kobe Bryant

Jan 26, 2020, 3:38 PM

He brought a passion and competitive spirit to the game of basketball that had never been seen before and may never be seen again. Teammates and coaches said he was the first one in and last one out of every practice ever, the fire he brought to the game of basketball will live on forever. There’s a lot we as people could learn about his passion for what he loved despite your beliefs and opinions about him. Mamba will always be one of the greats. Rest In Peace.

Kobe was one of the all-time greats, and was no doubt

a tremendous competitor who put in the work. He's just not the only one, nor is he in a league of his own in that regard.

I am with you Bengaline. I am a huge Laker fan, grew up going to the game. Saw Kobe live multiple times. He was a top 3 player, but Michael Jordan did it all before. Doesnt change that he great though and loved there.

he was retired right?

Jan 26, 2020, 4:11 PM

I haven't watched NBA since I don't know when, probably couldn't name 5 players today. Was a huge NBA fan when I was younger, but it lost me somewhere along the way.

The least important part of his death

Jan 26, 2020, 4:20 PM

Everyone talking about his playing days are missing the boat completely.

He was just now starting to enjoy retired life. He was getting involved in a number of youth basketball endeavors. He was going to be a voice for the future of basketball for decades. His daughter was a promising future WNBA Star. This hurts big time for the sports world
