I think he just wanted a HC gig... he didnt care where. If he last 3-4 years without a meltdown socially and he has decent results on the field.. someone else will take a chance on him. He is on the Chad Morris plan now. Go somewhere terrible and get them to decent.
If FAU goes 8-4 by 2019, he will be back in the list for Power5.

35-21 record at Tenn & USC. Dumped Tenn after one year. Bad reputation off the field. He's been the OC for one of the most successful programs in NCAA football history, but offense is NOT what that program is known for. Every recruiting advantage possible and he puts a snooze fest offense on the field.
I have zero idea why anyone would be interested in hiring him. He'll have none of those advantages at FAU. I expect him to lose and act like a ####### on the way out the door.
