Some perspective here!
Previous reports on his injury have said that the rest of this young man's life could be impacted. My wishes are for JR to be healthy regardless of the impact it has on the football team.

He didn't mention the impact to the football team.

My take was that he knows this doctor's appointment will affect whether or not Ross has a chance to become a millionaire by playing in the NFL.

Sure if he came back he could help Clemson for a year, but if he can play again and make it in the NFL he could change his families' lives.
