Today is the day many of us have been waiting for

a return to normalcy.
A return to calmness.
A return to sanity.
Last night was the last night to wake up, pick up my phone and see what crazy #### our president did/said the night before.
So to our 45th president, the worse since Nixon, perhaps since Andrew Johnson, walking out of the WH and hiding in his hotel today

But one that thankfully had to come to an end (despite how badly some folks want to violently make sure that doesn't happen).
I think over the next few years, more information is going to come out about the corruption and awful things this administration did. I can't imagine what's been kept under wraps.
People can blather on about the economy and what not, but we've had plenty of good economic times in America without a raging imbecile splitting us down the middle. We'll have those times again.
And I hope we learn lessons about putting safeguards in place against a future Trump; safeguards that don't allow someone like him to falsely claim an election was stolen while trying to stir up pro-fascist (PROFA?) mobs. Measures against presidential pardons. A stripping of EO power.
Trump at least showed us we have ceded far too much authority to the executive office over the past several presidencies.
Anyway, good riddance. I hope, with all my heart, that this stings very, very much for the people who blindly followed and worshipped him. They had it coming and deserve every ounce of it for their absurdity and rubbing it in our faces for four years.

Let's go with who deserves what...
When one of your hardworking kids or grandkids does not get in college because they are white, but plenty of kids of protected classes got in with far fewer qualifications, let's hope it is your kid or grandkid so you feel the sting of the liberal BS policies you voted for.
When one of your kids or grandkids has a rare medical disease but cannot see the best doctor in the country because you voted for socialized healthcare, maybe you will feel the sting of the policies for which you voted.
When one of your kids or grandkids is lucky enough to land a job, but finds out they cannot be promoted because they are racist (when really they are just white), I hope you recognize the policies you voted for and supported are in action and you feel the sting of it.
When one of your kids or grandkids is lucky enough to land a job, but someone who was jealous of them in high school scours their phone for a video of your kid or grandkid saying a racial slur (even though they were just singing lyrics of a rap song) and they get fired, "canceled," and commit suicide, I hope you realize you voted for cancel culture.
When the next person is killed by a thug let out of jail by a left-wing liberal judge, it only makes sense people that supported policies/politicians to let thugs out of prison be affected by it. So, your logic says the person killed deserves to be a liberal.
Under single party rule, which you voted for and support, the USA becomes a broke, socialist nation with a government run like Mexico's. There is no "global police" because you voted to fund social workers instead of the US military. It is only fair that your kids or grandkids be drafted into a weak, obsolete military in a last-resort attempt to defend the nation from the next future superpower.

Which, you know, isn't what's happening today, while a few months ago he made his infamous post where he advocated single party rule under the GOP with imprisonment of Dems and other political opponents.
He also in the same breath called for fewer federal regulations while calling for the federal government to basically shut down universities.

This won't happen. Colleges still take overwhelming white students and getting into college nowadays is basically nothing at all. I can throw a rock out my window and hit a school that will take me right now. What policies is Biden going to put in that stop white people from going to college? Oh, and I didn't vote for him.

And a return to slush fund corporate lawsuits, where companies like Gibson Guitars have to pay millions to the Fish and Wildlife 'Service' because they imported non-prefab wood from India due to the Induns being too incompetent to build fretboards and necks to proper scale. Fish and Wildlife will then distribute said extortion money to fraudulent groups like Ducks Unlimited and the Wild Turkey Foundation, which of course do absolutely nothing for ducks or turkeys.
