and ran into a Tiger RB BEAST in a local store. Chuck McSwain! What a great player he was and a great Clemson man he still is!

I didn't see Rod. A colleague I was with was talking to Chuck and introduced me to him. I had not recognized him. I was awestruck. lol. My words to him was, "Man, I used to pretend I was you while playing football in the backyard as a 7 yr old kid." He got a kick out of that. lol

"Boss" (as we called him) was one of my high school FB coaches at Chase. I hadn't seen him in years, but ironically ran into him outside Raymond James after the NC game. My sister said there's Chuck and I ran over to him and gave him a big hug. We celebrated and talked about the '81 championship game that he was apart of. I turned around and there were some people standing around watching us and I excitedly said "Do you folks know who this Clemson legend is!?!?" Chuck said, yeah they know...me they're my family.
