Reread the email. It says they are unable to guarantee tickets at this time based on the uncertainty of stadium capacity. Exactly what one would expect considering the current state of the nation.

It's the same for all away games, they cant guarantee tickets to away games. Any of them.

paid astronomical amount for two stub hub tickets on 40 yd line - 20 rows up. hopefully they play game.

As of a couple weeks ago, ND's plan is likely students only for this season. They want to protect the campus and it will help them avoid difficult conversations with their boosters.

but it did say since it's unknown how many spectators the bee bee heads will allow in the stadium, the ticket allocation is still unclear.
Clemson's allocation was only going to be around 5,000 anyway, and the athletic department is going to take everyone and his/her mother, so the number of available tickets was always going to be well short of demand.
That said, I only requested 2 tickets. I really didn't expect to get any. With a reduced capacity, I know I won't be getting them.
