Attend a game at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C. and you'll immediately notice stadium security in fluorescent garb everywhere you turn.
"Stadium security is quick to act on rowdy supporters and altercations between opposing fans, perhaps the reason for the surprising numbers of ejections here."
Apparently that doesn't include throwing bottles and other items are opposing players and fans.

No surprise to see South Coot-lina high on the list in this category.
I was very surprised to see Wyoming and Utah.
Isn't all that Mormon country? Unless it's a "zero tolerance" thing and rolling your eyes too hard gets you ejected!
Anybody else surprised at Utah and Wyoming being top ten? In fact, if I hadn't read this and was making a list, I would probably have them somewhere near the bottom of this list!

BYU is the Morman school and Utah is for everyone else so I can see it. As far as Wyoming, those cowboys and cowgirls like to party.

UGA was probably the worst experience for me... on one occasion I had someone spit on me while walking to the stadium. Another occasion I was with buddies in an RV and we had one UGA student (assumed) run up and pull out our 20 foot flagpole and start running away with it. In his other hand he was carrying a liter of Jim Beam (20% remaining). He wasn't escaping very quickly and we shortly tackled him and gave him the business.
FSU was just weird... 2014 and with my older brother (both in our 40s)… walking into the stadium amidst a large crowd trying to get in the gates, a random FSU fan walking in the opposite direction sees us and just walks up and shoves me. He was immediately pummeled by pretty much every FSU fan around us. Then, in the game, I'm returning to my seat and notice a couple of young FSU fans sitting in our seats. These guys refused to move, then get aggressive as if they've somehow claimed ownership of our seats. We were sitting right on the 50, great seats, surrounded by a lot of older FSU boosters. They intervened, snapped their fingers to summon security, and the 2 interlopers were escorted out of the stadium.
I've never really had any trouble at Williams Brice, but I usually go with friends that are USC alumni. I wouldn't sit anywhere near the student section. That's asking for trouble.
Most football programs with passionate fanbases have some element of this. We've had some of that at Clemson in the past too. To date, the only venue I'll never visit again is UGA. FSU is almost on that list.

I couldn’t agree more about the coots, uga and fsu. Also, glad to see Florida on the list. They’ve earned it!
