It’s not just what he said the day of the riot

It’s also the cumulative rhetoric for months prior to the riots. It’s why there were people in DC that day to begin with and what pushed those already on the edge completely over the cliff.

There were several here talking about how his irresponsible rhetoric was going to get people hurt or killed even back before the election.

These current efforts to pick apart the words of his speech on the 6th are just partisan attempts to change the narrative to something more palatable for those on the right.

However you slice it, it was still incitement of a riot/sedition.
