Depends on how you define capacity. But whatever that is, the level of it Trump has right now is extremely low. Presidents crippled from disease and bound to wheelchairs have been able to demonstrate FAR more capacity to lead.

What was the intent of Trump and his band of fighting fluffers inciting those folks to march to the capitol?
If he didn't think he would incite people to storm the capitol, then he's an idiot. And if he DID believe it would incite them enough to attempt to stall the election process, then he's a traitor.
Which is it? Either one signals a mental incapacity to me.

I think that the President's detachment from realty makes him incapable of performing his duties.
That remains true despite whatever political theater might be happening today.

He is mentally incapable of putting the needs of the country ahead of his own.
He is mentally incapable of accepting the reality that he lost this election.
He is mentally incapable of realizing that a President's words have consequences far more reaching than the average person.
He is mentally incapable of taking responsibility for the actions that his words incited on Wednesday or that what he did was un-presidential, reckless, and wrong.
