I'm down in Bama country, met a Dabo friend last nite

Eating at the bar at Slice Pizza last nite, a big guy sits down next to me, he's picking up pizzas to go. He notices my orange 2016 Natty pullover and states he's a Bama grad. After some chit-chat about Monday's game he tells me he knows Dabo from his days in the area before coming to Clemson to coach. He said he coached Dabo's kids in Rec league football. Dabo coached the kids, too. This was after Dabo and the whole staff got let go when Stallings was done. He said Mike Price had told Dabo he would be hired, but reneged. Dabo later got the call from Tommy and the rest is history.

I'm gonna check in with Dabo and mention this guy and see what he says. Seemed very sincere...

BTW, Joe Scarborough is here at the hotel I'm staying in. Big dude, doing rehab work somewhere around here in Birmingham...

wouldn't doubt that Dabo coached Rec League in Bama.

Not sure the guy coached Dabo kids, but I bet Dabo was always involved with helping out rec league and such.
