Some political thoughts

Jan 28, 2021, 6:34 PM

It’s interesting how most of us have an influence just about as far as our local townhall. Most of us don’t even attend City Council meetings and such, but in reality that is about as far as your influence, minus voting, gets us at all close to someone who can make a difference.

We sit in here, Twitter, FB...whatever you vice and we argue politics on the National Stage that really, they don’t care what we think and we cannot control.

Isn’t it kind of bothersome that people on here aren’t arguing SC/NC/VA politics or the Mayors office in Charleston or what is really happening in Columbia. There should be hundreds of posts around State politics, when really there are 3x that about AOC.

It just struck me a while ago when thinking about that idiotic thread that got us all worked up about someone in NYC.

Because everyone in Washington is all up in my business. The green new deal will effect my retirement more than this idiot Tecklenburg.

When I read a 19B Post about who we can trust regarding finances.

But who can you really trust anywhere in the Fed Gov? I think it’s 99% show personally.

This should absolutely be everyone’s focus. All politics are local right?

difference requires effort. Any nitwit with an internet connection and no life can sit here for hours every day posting about politics. To what end? There's what, maybe about a dozen or so people who post in this forum regularly? ####, there's more than a dozen people just in my cul-de-sac... LOL

And how many opinions are changed? Zero Point Zero. Seems rather silly when you think about it.

And there are a lotta nitwits in here!***
